Tyra

Sunday, July 9, 7pm, Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Ave.

Tyra is a tale of a woman who is the victim of abuse as a child and domestic violence as a young woman. She escapes and becomes a successful business woman who turns into an addict who ends up in jail for a “. . . sin too great that she could never be forgiven.” This story is told through the eyes of Tyra as an old woman. Did she ever find forgiveness from God? What was her unforgivable sin? Written by first-time playwright Phylis Mack (Columbus).
