Protest/Rally

Wednesday, January 29, 9-11am, Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts, 77 S. High St. [in the lobby]

We can end police violence in Ohio. We can live in a world where police don’t kill people by limiting police legal interventions and gun violence by improving community interactions and by ensuring accountability and transparency. #DeEscalateOhioNow!

Our demands are the following:

1. End “broken-window” policing

2. Community oversight

3. Limit use of force

Saturday, January 4, 9am, Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center, 4340 Tamarack Blvd.

Please join us in protesting at the Franklin County Dog Shelter [FCDS] on January 4 at 9am.

We all fight daily for the unfortunate dogs that end up on the “Euth List” at FCDS. It is time to get compassionate management and employees in the shelter to start fighting to save them as well.

Saturday, November 2, 5:30pm, N. High St. and W. Poplar Ave.

When Black trans women are under attack, what do we do? Stand Up, Fight Back.

We invite all of Central Ohio to march with us against the anti-Black, transmisogynist violence that is killing our sisters worldwide. The stakes are raising higher and higher for Black trans women, and the rest of us need to do more to protect them.

Monday, October 14, 8am; to Tuesday, October 15, 8am; Ohio Statehouse

Join us on October 14 as we bring awareness to PTSD in Black and Brown babies with our 24-Hour Hunger Strike at the Ohio Statehouse. African-American children suffer from higher levels of PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms over any other race, and the American Psychiatry Association released a report saying that they are at epidemic levels. Help us push historical policy that would make Ohio the first state to execute a State of Emergency on Childhood Trauma.
