The Neighborhood Services, Inc. Food Pantry is excited to present its annual Church Choir Concert Fundraiser! Featuring the combined talented vocals of several Columbus-area churches, join us for an afternoon of music and community as we come together to the blessings of the Thanksgiving season.

This event is free or pay-what-you-wish so please join us in choral jubilation!

On Sunday, October 27, one year since the terrible attack at Tree of Life congregation in Pittsburgh, members of diverse faiths and the community will come together at Congregation Tifereth Israel for an unforgettable concert.

Participants include the following.

• Jewish Communal Choir

• Abubakar Assidiq Islamic Center

• First Congregational Church

• Metropolitan Singers, Fort Hayes

• New Faith Baptist Church and Friends

Saturday, August 24, 7-9pm, Just North United Church of Christ, 2040 W. Henderson Rd. [This event will begin with a 5pm picnic.]

Just North United Church of Christ and Temple Israel invite you to an interfaith celebration in support of the Mauritanian community. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to legal defense, bonds, and direct support to Mauritanians in Columbus who are impacted by the current deportation crisis.

Capping over 50 years of touring and recording, George Clinton is set to embark on his final tour with the legendary Parliament Funkadelic before he retires. The One Nation Under Groove Tour, which got underway at the end of May, will stop the Express Live Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, July 21.

June 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the riots at the Stonewall Inn and the public beginning of the LGBTQIA+ civil rights movement. We will be reliving the riots, music, and events of the time, as well as the events and music that brought us together as a community.

Join the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus for this celebration and to stand together for what we’ll continue to fight for during the next 50 years!
