Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. They’re taking everything they can get their hands on, claiming anything standing in their way is illegal, and daring the American people to stop them.

On Saturday, April 5, we’re taking to the streets nationwide to fight back with a clear message: “Hands off!”

Tuesday, April 1, 7-10pm, Pierogi Mountain, 105 N. Grant Ave.

Join us for our DSA happy hour! We will be meeting on the first Tuesday of each month. This will be an informal get together to meet, hang out, talk shop, and enjoy the camaraderie! Non-members are welcome to join and learn more about the chapter.

Hosted by Columbus DSA [Democratic Socialists of America].

Tuesday, April 1, 6:30pm, Whitehall City Council, 360 S. Yearling Rd., Whitehall, Ohio

Join us at the Whitehall City Council meeting on April 1 at 6:30pm to support the passage of resolutions to protect trans people and immigrants.

We encourage attendees to speak in support of the resolutions. There will be two opportunities for the public to offer comments at the meeting, limited to three minutes, with sign-up at the meeting.

Even if you don’t speak, your presence to fill the chambers and support others will be greatly appreciated.

Monday, March 31, 7-8pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

LGBTQ communities, backed by our loved ones, are fighting for a world where everyone can thrive. The current administration is trying to divide us in order to rule us. They are targeting transgender people with illegal executive actions that restrict our access to health care, jobs, and our true identities, while also attacking migrant, Black and Muslim folks. They are trying to overwhelm and divide us, but we have power together.

Monday, March 31, 3pm, Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts, 77 S. High St.

Action Alert: Big Gay Dance Party: Trans Day of Visibility!

Mark your calendars! On March 31, we’re turning up the volume and taking up space outside of the Governor’s Office for a Big Gay Dance Party in honor of Trans Day of Visibility!

Why? Because visibility matters. Because joy is resistance. Because every trans, nonbinary, and LGBTQIA+ person deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported.

Monday, March 31, 12noon-1pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

LGBTQ+ people are facing growing challenges — and support is more needed today than ever. This spring, join the Equitas Health Institute for a three-part webinar series led by Ramona Peel (they/she) to equip learners with the knowledge and tools to support their LGBTQ+ patients, clients, neighbors, and friends.

What you’ll learn:

• Understanding LGBTQ+ identities, experiences and health disparities (March 31 at 12noon)

Sunday, March 30, 5:30-6:30pm, Old First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Bryden Rd.

A twenty-to-thirty-minute silent meditation will be followed by discussion and refreshments.

The benefits of meditation are innumerable. These include greater mental clarity, a reduction in stress, improved emotional balance, and increased spiritual development. Meditation benefits everyone.

Different meditation practices will be presented, throughout the year, by practitioners of those traditions.

Enter the church via the rear door.

This group will meet each Sunday, 5:30-6:30pm
