Join the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to celebrate the grand opening of the Eco-Discovery Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a tour of the new, sustainable center.

Save Ohio Parks is observing Earth Day by encouraging supporters to attend the official opening of Salt Fork State Park’s Eco-Discovery Center on Tuesday, April 22, at 10am.

The Amos Project’s Black Women’s Health Initiative (BWHI) will host a special town hall featuring Congresswoman Joyce Beatty on Monday, April 21 at 6:30pm. This important community event aims to address critical health issues affecting Black women in Ohio.

Congresswoman Beatty, a longtime advocate for healthcare equity and women’s health issues, will discuss recent legislative efforts and will answer questions from community members about the ongoing healthcare challenges facing Black women.

Celebrate the creativity of our community with our annual exhibition, “This Inspired That.” This year, we invite artists of Phoenix Rising to draw inspiration from the inspired works of Open Door artists. After selecting an Open Door work that speaks to them, Phoenix Rising artists will create a response piece. The two works will be displayed side by side in this collaborative exhibition.

Every year, WGRN 91.9FM radio commemorates our Earth Day Birthday to celebrate our first broadcast in April 2016.

This year, we will partner with WCRS 92.7/98.3FM community radio to hold a special celebration at El Vaquero with food, drinks, an awards ceremony, and more!

This event is free and open to the public.
