The primary objective of the “Guns D.O.W.N. Summit” event is to foster engagement among young people in critical areas such as conflict resolution, career readiness, wellness, and social justice. This event will have a variety of guest presenters, community leaders, and youth speakers.

Youth participants will receive food and snacks as well as gain the opportunity to receive swag giveaways and other prizes. We will also have tables of various community resources, 360° photo booth, music, art, and more.

Join Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio for our “Columbus Health Center Advocacy Program (HCAP) Volunteer Training”! HCAP is one of our Patient Advocacy Programs and our only volunteer opportunity directly within the health centers. HCAP volunteers connect with patients in our health centers about volunteer and advocacy opportunities, legislative updates, and story sharing opportunities. All volunteers interested in HCAP must complete this training.

Wednesday, May 21, 6:30pm, beginning and ending at Our Lady of Peace Catholic School, 40 E. Dominion Blvd.

This is the 23rd year for the Ride of Silence.

This year, we will be reading the names of the cyclists who were killed on Ohio roads in 2024 along with names submitted by registered riders who were killed in any year. We will also honor Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.

• Topics for the Summit this year include seat belt use, distracted driving and youthful drivers, enhanced media coverage, and law enforcement.

• Keynote speakers will be Rick Birt from the Highway Safety Office and Darrin Grondel of the National Alliance to Stop Impaired Driving.

Illuminati’s annual full-length concert of sacred and spiritual music, and songs from monthly services at houses of worship that invited Illuminati to sing.
