Jim Ellison Jim's first job was at Knight’s Ice Cream in Clintonville, he is still hooked on ice cream as well as the food and service industry. Jim started writing in 1998, crafting culinary tales for Ohio Magazine. He has written for many publications including C-Bus Magazine, The Columbus Web Observer, Citysearch.com, Crave and The Alive. In 2006, he created CMH Gourmand a blog highlighting the best places to eat and drink in Central Ohio and beyond. In 2009 Jim, Andy and Bethiastarted a website called Taco Trucks Columbus. In 2010, two sites spun off of this project – Alt Eats Columbus & Street Eats Columbus. Locally he judges for various food contests at the North Market and elsewhere. Jim also does social media consulting for local restaurants and food events. Nationally, he is a Kansas City BBQ Society Certified BBQ judge, a Zagat Rater, a contributor to RoadFood.com and a credited researcher for three food related books. Obviously he is gaining a lot of weight.
