Letters of Hope

Monday, September 22, 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT
Did you know you can write letters to immigrants in detention, even if you don’t personally know someone detained?

The U.S. government is now detaining a record number of immigrants, and reportedly plans to almost double their detention capacity by the end of 2025. This includes a renewed emphasis on detaining families, including those with young children.

If you feel helpless when hearing about the high number of immigrants being detained by ICE, there is a way to respond with hope and care. Our friends at Casa de Paz have
graciously agreed to host us for a private Zoom training where we’ll learn how to correspond with detainees.

If you want to take this step in supporting our immigrant neighbors, join us on Monday, September 22, at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT to learn more about becoming a pen pal with
Casa de Paz.
