For He shall multiply war spending many fold, create a personal army, blow up random victims in the far reaches of the Earth, normalize genocide, return unto the War Department its proper name, and establish the Holy Deployment of the Red Horseman of nuclear tactical strike;

And He shall say unto His disciples:

“If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know habitual lying and habitual lying will set you free.”

But they shall not hear, as all Life will have vanished from the land.

I was happy and grateful to learn from the staff of Senator Beth Liston that she canceled her plan to take part in the propaganda tour to Israel that was planned and paid for by the Israeli lobby (AIPAC) that was intended to whitewash the Israeli genocide in Gaza. Upon learning of the trip last week, Baladana (Palestine Society of Columbus) launched an action alert campaign to persuade Dr. Liston to abandon her plan to visit Israel and to meet her constituents and listen to their concerns.

Ohioans should not entertain the Israeli genocide. I am proud of her courageous stance and for listening to the concern of her constituents. Our precious tax dollars should not be used to support the genocide in Gaza and for murdering women and children.

People who are true to their Jewish and Christian faith would not support the genocide, child murder, forced starvation and expulsion, and neither should any US lawmakers.

One needs only to examine the actions and rhetoric of the Israeli government to fully appreciate the profound significance of the solidarity flotillas bound for Gaza. As the latest and most significant of these efforts, the Global Solidarity Flotilla sets sail, Israel's hostile discourse has intensified, articulated most forcefully by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

 The extremist minister has ominously declared that all the volunteers on board the Flotilla are “terrorists,” vowing that they will be treated as such. To grasp the chilling meaning of treating non-violent activists as terrorists, one must consider a recent investigation by The Guardian newspaper. The report exposed that of the 6,000 Palestinians detained in Gaza during the first 19 months of the genocide, all were held under a law that classifies them as “unlawful combatants,” thus terrorists, allowing for indefinite imprisonment.

For doctors in Gaza who heal night and day,
Risking their lives so that others may stay.
For journalists daring to tell what is true,
Two hundred and fifty struck down as they do.
For martyrs whose courage still kindles the flame,
For survivors who rise and give hope with their name.
For friends in the city refusing to flee,
For millions who march, for the jailed yet free.
For hearts that stay open, for minds that will fight,
For Hind Rajab’s voice that was honored that night.

I have university degrees in ancient, medieval and early modern history but search as I may, I cannot find another example of a small, low population state largely devoid of natural resources that has been able to dominate the politics and policies of a much larger great power to the extent that Israel controls many aspects of America’s government, its economy, its education system, its media, and, most of all, its foreign and national security policies. Little Israel commands and the superpower United States obeys, a relationship that has coined the expression “the tail wags the dog.”

It has been well established that Israel and the US are partners. What is not well understood is the square-dance-like sequence, the deadly do-si-do, the back and forth of that partnership,

Involving 9/11, the US and Israel aligned in prevarication, determinedly, wrongly associating the motive, intent, and execution of the attacks with Saddam Hussein and Iraq.

Immediately after 9/11, Netanyahu, who was in America, was asked by the BBC what the attack meant for US-Israeli relations. ''It's very good,” he said. Then he caught himself: ''Well, not very good, but it will generate immediate sympathy.”

On September 12, 2001, in a CNN interview, Mr. Netanyahu said: “It’s not just bin Laden. It’s not just the networks. It’s also the states that harbor and support them—Iraq, Iran, the Taliban in Afghanistan.”

A few days later, on September 16, 2001, Vice President Cheney appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press and claimed: “We also have evidence that [Saddam Hussein] has been harboring terrorists, including al-Qaeda.”
